I am an independent type designer from Germany. 

After studying visual communication in the university of applied sciences in Dortmund, I co-founded the design studio Radau. My fascination with typography and letterforms led me to move to Reading GBR and my MA in type design.

My expertise in type design has gained a reputation over the years, through my regular collaborations with type foundries, design studios and agencies. I am focused on delivering the highest standards in font production and mastering, partnering with engineers throughout my international network.

Whether for a local business or large corporation, my work reinforces how the world perceives brands through custom fonts that make identities adaptive, multilingual, coherent, unique, flexible and recognisable all at once.

Teaching & Mentoring

I am a visiting lecturer at AKI ArtEZ Enschede and LHÍ Reykjavík, where I teach type design. And as an active member of Alphabettes, a network to support and promote women in the type industry, I mentor professional newcomers weekly.

Awards & Honours

My typeface designs have earned recognition and awards from D&AD (2019, wooden pencil), German Design Awards nominee (2015), ED Awards (2014, bronze), Typographica’s Best (2013 & 2014), Granshan (2013, 1st prize Arabic).

I design retail and custom fonts in close collaboration with my clients to provide a unique typographic solution.
